THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
RHYS CURTIS MILLEN, 28 and of Beaufort Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on October 10, 2023. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay costs of £60. The compliance date of his community order was also extended to October 9, 2025.
CALEB SMITH-WATERFIELD, 20 and of Avon Road in Charminster admitted driving without a licence and failing to stop his vehicle when directed by PC / traffic warden / traffic officer / CSO, in Fir Vale Road in Bournemouth on February 22. He admitted driving without due care and attention in Fir Vale Road in Bournemouth on January 6. He got eight points on his licence. He was also fined £446, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £178 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
ALEXANDER GAINES, 30 and of Martingale Close in Upton, admitted assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm in Whitecliff Recreation Ground in Sandanks Road in Poole on January 15. He was handed a community order lasting until July 14, 2025, with a requirement to complete 80 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
LEWIS SLATER, 24 and of Barham Close in Bournemouth, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely outside Mello Mello Bar in Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth, on May 4. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis, in police custody in Bournemouth on May 4. He admitted two counts of possession of a controlled drug of Class A, namely MDMA and cocaine, in police custody in Bournemouth on May 4. He was fined £240, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £48 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
CHARLIE DARCH, 32 and of Exeter, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely in Christchurch Road in Bournemouth, on May 5. He was fined £50.
MARY FIELDS, 47 and of Corhampton Road in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of drug driving in Grants Avenue in Bournemouth on December 31, 2023. The proportion of Benzoylecgonine in her blood was greater than 800 micrograms per litre, and the proportion of cocaine in her blood was greater than 32 micrograms per litre, court records show. She was disqualified from driving for 12 months. She was also fined £120 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £48.
ALAN PUTLAND, 36 and of East Stoke, admitted driving while disqualified in Sterte Avenue West in Poole on May 1. He was disqualified from driving for eight months and was handed a community order lasting until July 14, 2025, with a requirement to complete 120 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114.
GABRIELLE PELYHE, 37 and of East Street in London, admitted drink driving, with 80 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Queens Park Avenue in Bournemouth on May 2. She was disqualified from driving for 20 months. She was fined £120, a victim surcharge of £48 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
NICOLA LANG, 56 and of McDonald Place in Lytchett Matravers, admitted driving without third party insurance and drug driving, with 5.2 micrograms of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in her blood, in Blandford Road in Poole on December 28, 2023. She was disqualified from driving for 12 months. She was also fined £240 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £96.
