FREE firework displays will return to Bournemouth and Poole next week. 

Bournemouth Coastal Business Improvement District’s Friday Fireworks by the Sea event will start at 10pm on Friday, July 26 along the seafront.

Dazzling displays will light up the seafront sky every Friday until August 23 – as well as two extra shows for the air festival on August 30 and 31. 

And at Poole Quay, weekly displays every Thursday will start at 10pm from August 8 to 29 – with two additional dates on July 25 and August 1 supported by Poole Quay Events. 

Bournemouth Coastal Business Improvement District said: “The fireworks will be visible from various spots along the beach and promenade.  

“For the most spectacular views, consider reserving a table at a seafront restaurant or booking a staycation in one of our beachfront hotels.  

“It’s the perfect opportunity for a memorable night out or a special getaway with loved ones.” 

Cabinet member for culture Andy Martin said: “Despite the financial pressures on our council budget, we have ensured that there are many fun and free events taking place across our three towns in 2024.”
