THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
PAUL SPILLAR, 45 and of Southampton, admitted six counts of theft from a shop after stealing items to the value of £32.05 from Tesco in High Street in Lymington on May 10, stealing three bottles of lager to the value of £7.60 from Co-op in Charminster Road in Bournemouth on March 18, stealing Carlsberg lager to the value of £8 from One Stop in Rippon Road in Bournemouth on April 11, stealing cider to the value of £5.20 from Co-op in Charminster Road in Bournemouth on May 7, stealing alcohol to the value of £10.50 from One Stop in Rippon Road in Bournemouth on January 27, and stealing alcohol to the value of £80.65 from Co-op in Trinity Street in Dorchester on September 22, 2023. He also admitted two counts of failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates' Court on June 7 and July 11. He was handed a six week prison sentence suspended for six months and ordered to pay compensation of £144.
ALFIE JENNINGS, 19 and of Somerford Road in Christchurch, he admitted making indecent photographs / pseudo-photographs of a child, after making nine accessible Category A indecent images of a child in Christchurch between October 28 and November 14, 2022. He also admitted driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely 6.5 micrograms of THC per litre of blood, in Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on January 3. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, handed a community order lasting until July 18, 2027, with a requirement to complete 150 hours of unpaid work, and ordered to register with the police for ten years. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
JACK ALEXANDER, 34 and of Hengist Road in Bournemouth, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely in Hengist Road in Bournemouth on January 6. He was fined £384, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £154 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
DANIEL OLDHAM, 21 and of Brassey Road in Bournemouth, admitted criminal damage to property after damaging an electric glass door to the value of £1069.92 at Mercury House in St Peter’s Road in Bournemouth on August 18, 2023. He admitted two counts of theft from a shop after stealing confectionery and olive oil to the value of £70 from One Stop in Ripon Road in Bournemouth on December 29, 2023, and stealing jars of coffee and bottles of Red Bull valued at £96.60 from Tesco in Wimborne Road in Bournemouth on September 7, 2023. He was handed a community order lasting until January 18, 2026. He was also fined £150 and ordered to pay compensation of £466.60.
JOSHUA HALCROW, 41 and of Matchams Lane in Christchurch, admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class A, namely heroin, in High Street in Christchurch on September 8, 2023. He was conditionally discharged for a period of six months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £40 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
