THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

DANNY BIRD, 32 and of Hobbs Road in Poole, admitted two counts of possession of an offensive weapon in private place, namely Samurai swords, in Hobbs Road in Poole on April 16. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class B, namely cannabis, in Poole on April 16. He was handed a community order lasting until July 18, 2025, with a requirement to complete 100 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

SAMUEL MEIGH, 28 and of Northcote Road in Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class A, namely heroin, in Madeira Road in Bournemouth on May 5. He was fined £100.

MOHAMMED AHMED, 31 and of Stone Gardens in Bournemouth, admitted possession of an offensive weapon in private place, namely a buckle-belt knife, in St Albans Avenue in Bournemouth on October 9, 2023. He admitted possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid / gas / electrical incapacitation device in St Albans Avenue in Bournemouth on October 9, 2023. Court records show it was a ‘weapon designed or adapted for the discharge of an electric charge designed to incapacitate’. He was handed a community order lasting until July 18, 2025. He was also fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

LEWIS BROWN, 21 and of Library Road in Poole, admitted burglary other than dwelling - theft, after entering Spar in Sandbanks Road and stealing boxes of vapes on November 10, 2023. He was fined £333 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

KAWEH AREZUMAND, 39 and of Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of possession of a controlled drug of Class A, namely Crack Cocaine and Diamorphine, in Gervis Road in Bournemouth on December 29, 2023. He was fined £240.

MARK RADNEDGE, 48 and of Findlay Place in Swanage, admitted criminal damage to property after damaging a cell to the value of £92 while in custody in Weymouth on June 14. He was ordered to pay compensation of £92.

EWAN BRIGGS, 21 and of Reynolds Rise in Shaftesbury, admitted theft from a shop after stealing tobacco to the value of £40.65 from Damory Garage in Salisbury Road in Blandford Forum on May 8. He admitted two counts of theft – other – after stealing a 42 inch television valued at £280 and a 32 inch television valued at £119 in Abbotsbury Road in Weymouth on April 20. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay compensation of £439.65.

LEE MARTIN NORRIS, 36 and of no fixed address, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on January 9. He was fined £33.

JAMES MARK ALEXANDER ROBINS, 28 and of Sussex Road in Weymouth, committed a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made by Dorset Magistrates Court on October 26, 2023. He was jailed for six weeks.
