ROCK band The Libertines are set to close their upcoming UK tour with a performance in Bournemouth.
Following the recent release of their new album All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade on April 5, they announced their UK and Irish tour.
The spree will commence in Dublin on September 23 and will culminate in a live performance at Bournemouth O2 Academy on November 21.
The self-described 'chaos-mongers' are renowned for their raucous live shows.
The returning band comprises Peter Doherty and Carl Barât on vocals and guitars, John Hassall on the bass guitar, and Gary Powell on the drums.
The band’s newest album, produced by Grammy nominee Dimitri Tikovoï, features eleven fresh songs credited to all band members.
It was recorded at The Albion Rooms in Margate within four weeks between February and March and finalised over seven days in Normandy's La Ferme de Gestein Studios with additional inputs from Dan Grech-Marguerat.
The band members gathered from their homes in France, Denmark, Margate and London to work on the album.
This is the band's fourth album following Up The Bracket in 2002, The Libertines in 2004, and Anthems for Doomed Youth in 2015.
