I HAVE just spent a week in Weymouth with my two small children and have found everyone very friendly and helpful.
However I will not return and will be advising my friends with young children to stay away.
The reason for this is the horses and their owners who seem to think they have the right to ‘drop horse dung’ along the Esplanade and on the beach with no thought for the families whose children walk into it .
We were walking on the pebble beach near the groyne when my son fell in a huge pile of horse dung which was very unpleasant for all of us.
I think it’s a shame that a beach which advertises itself for families allows this to happen.
