A SUSPECTED cannabis farm was found in a West Howe home.
Officers raided a home in Mandale Road on Tuesday afternoon, July 23 following reports of a disturbance.
Inside, a “number of” suspected cannabis plants and cultivation equipment was found by the officers along with suspected class A drugs.
A man aged in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of cultivating a class B drug and possessing a class A drug.
Dorset Police’s spokesman said: “The fire service and an electrician attended to ensure the property was safe before further searches were conducted.
“Our investigation remains ongoing.”
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service’s spokeswoman added: “We were called at 4.23am this morning (23 July) to support a police incident in Mandale Road, Bournemouth.
“Two crews attended, from Redhill Park and Poole. Our stop was at 6.29am.”
