A BOURNEMOUTH-based law firm has launched a charity partnership with an assistance dog charity.
Steele Raymond selected Helpful Hounds Assistance Dogs as its new charity partner after an internal staff poll.
The law firm has set a fundraising goal of £12,000, enough to sponsor an assistance dog through a complete training course.
Helpful Hounds trains dogs to aid young individuals and their families in southern England.
These dogs are equipped to assist those with diverse needs, such as physical disabilities, autism, and emotional challenges, and they can also serve in special needs schools and departments.
Steele Raymond marked the partnership's inception by hosting a visit from assistance dog, Raffi, a golden retriever, and trainee, Cherry Junior, a labrador puppy.
Jenny Rogerson, managing partner at Steele Raymond, said: "We're delighted to be able to support Helpful Hounds as our new charity partner.
"We are all very much looking forward to engaging with the charity and raising as much as we can, as well as shining a spotlight on the vital work they do for young people in our community, helping them to achieve their maximum potential."
The law firm's team plans to support the charity through various activities, including staff fundraising events, sponsored challenges, cake sales and raffles.
