A MAN has been arrested following a search for somebody who assaulted a woman.
Drones were sent out in Canford Heath on July 12 to search for a culprit who had fled after a woman was injured in Chaldon Road.
While on the scene, officers arrested another man, aged 39 and from Bournemouth, and a woman, 38 and of Poole, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.
But now a a 45-year-old man from Poole was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on bail.
The other two who were arrested remain released under investigation while enquiries by officers continue.
A specialist search team was seen inside a home next to the park but has not been specified what they were looking for.
Prior to that, officers were seen coming in and out with bags of evidence and a cordon was put up around the house and park.
One resident, who declined to give his name, said at the time: "They've been here since about 10.30am coming and going out of the road.
"I've seen them come out with bags of things. Nobody knows what is going on, the police have not told us anything."
