THE following roadworks are being carried out within the BCP Council area by the council and various utility companies the week beginning Monday, July 29: 

Ashley Road – junction with Holdenhurst Road to railway bridge. Temporary road closure on 22 July until 29 August during BCP design and improvement works. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Ashmore Avenue (Poole) – junction with Ashmore Crescent. Temporary road closure on 29 July until 9 August during BCP highway improvement works. 

Benellen Gardens – junction with Benellen Avenue. Temporary road closure on 2 August until 30 August during BCP design and improvement works. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Benellen Road – junction with Glenferness Avenue. Temporary road closure on 13 July until 31 July during BCP excavation to repair a damaged sewer. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Bingham Avenue (Poole) – junction with Lilliput Road. Temporary road closure on 22 July until 21 August during SGN installation and maintenance works. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Braidley Road – outside 15. Temporary road closure on 18 July until 16 August during Wessex Water works to repair a collapsed sewer. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Broadway Lane – junction Careys Road to outside 86. Temporary road closure on 22 July until 10 September during SGN installation and maintenance works. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Brudenell Avenue (Poole) – junction with Shore Road. Various carriageway restrictions (including a small road closure) on 1 April until 30 August during SGN installation and maintenance works. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Canford Cliffs Avenue (Poole) – outside 7. Temporary road closure on 29 July until 12 August during BCP works to make a new connection to a sewer. 

Commercial Road - junction with West Hill Road. Temporary road closure on 22 July until 30 August during BCP design works. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Compton Avenue (Poole) – junction with Lilliput Road. Temporary traffic signals on 22 July until 21 August during SGN installation works. 

Constitution Hill Road (Poole) – jct Ringwood Rd to jct Constitution Hill Gardens. Temporary traffic signals on 22 July until 11 October during SGN installation works. 

Danecourt Road (Poole) – junction with Ringwood Road to jct Fernside Avenue. Temporary carriageway restrictions including a road closure, on 22 July until 1 September during SGN installation works. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Daws Avenue – junction with Turbary Park Avenue. Temporary road closure on 1 July until 2 August during SSEPD installation and maintenance. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Durley Road – whole road. Temporary road closure on 8 July until 30 August during BCP junction remodelling works. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Fairmile Road (Christchurch) – outside 45. Temporary (night-time) traffic signals on 29 July during Wessex Water works to replace a rocking/noisy access cover. 

Kinson Road – outside 120. Temporary (night-time) carriageway restrictions on 29 July during Wessex Water works to replace a rocking/noisy access cover. 

Kinson Road - outside 231 to junction with Hadow Road. Temporary traffic signals on 1 August during BT maintenance and installation works. 

Lagado Close (Poole) – whole road from junction with Lilliput Road. Temporary traffic signals on 22 July until 13 August during SGN installation works. 

Leven Avenue – junction Walsford Road and Benellen Avenue. Temporary road closure on 31 July until 30 August during BCP works to improve crossing and cycle facilities. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Lilliput Road (Poole) – junction Bingham Avenue to jct Dean Swift Crescent. Temporary traffic signals on 22 July until 3 September during SGN installation works. 

Magna Road (Poole) – outside 142 to junction with Hainault Drive. Temporary traffic signals on 15 July until 9 August during SGN installation works. 

Normandy Way (Poole) – link road between Lake Drive and Normandy Way. Temporary road closure on 15 April until 2 August during SGN installation and maintenance works. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Oakley Lane (Poole) – junction with Oakley Straight to jct with Harrier Drive. Temporary road closure on 25 July until 9 September during BCP works to install a new pedestrian crossing and install new kerbs. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Parkwood Road – junction with Christchurch Road - junction with Darracott Road. Temporary road closure on 8 July until 13 September during SGN installation works. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Ringwood Road – junction Milhams Road to Longham Bridge. Temporary (night-time) traffic signals on 29 July until 30 July during BCP highway improvement works. 

Ringwood Road (Poole) – junction Fernside Road to junction with Hunt Road. Temporary traffic signals on 22 July until 1 September during SGN works to replace a new gas main. 

Serpentine Road Roundabout (Poole) – all junctions. Temporary traffic signals on 30 July until 31 July during BCP highway improvement works. 

Shillingstone Drive – junction Broadway Lane to junction Stratton Road. Temporary road closure on 22 July until 10 September during SGN installation and maintenance works. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Smugglers Lane North (Christchurch) – at junction with Nea Close. Temporary traffic signals on 18 July until 2 August during SWW works to locate and a repair a leak. 

Somerville Road – junction Durley Chine Road to jct Durley Road. Temporary road closure on 22 July until 30 August during BCP works to install a cycle lane and to turn the road into a ‘school street’. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Stanley Green Road (Poole) – outside 156. Temporary traffic signals on 23 July until 29 July during SSEPD new connection works. 

Surrey Road - junction with Queens Road To outside 2. Temporary carriageway restrictions, including road closures on 3 July until 29 November during SGN works to replace a new gas main. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Turbary Park Avenue – junction with Lydford Road to opposite 3. Temporary traffic signals on 3 June until 2 August during SSEPD fault locating, repair and installation works. 

Twin Sails Bridge (Poole) – jct with West Quay Road to jct with Blandford Road. Temporary road closure during BCP ongoing essential maintenance. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Upper Road (Poole) – junction Lawson Road to junction Brixey Road. Temporary road closure on 26 July until 30 August during SGN installation and maintenance works. Signed diversion route in operation. 

Uppleby Road (Poole) – junction Ashley Road to junction Upper Road. Temporary road closure on 26 July until 27 September during SGN installation and maintenance works. Signed diversion route in operation.
