THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

LEANDOU GREEN, 35 and of Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class B, namely 8 grams of Cannabis / Cannabis Resin, in Bournemouth on July 24. He admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely a police officer, in Bournemouth on July 24. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class B, namely Cannabis, in Bournemouth on October 21, 2023. He admitted driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely with more than 9.8 micrograms of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood, in Elliott Road in Bournemouth on October 21, 2023. He admitted using a motor vehicle on a road which was not fitted with an exhaust system including a silencer in Elliott Road in Bournemouth on October 21, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £520 and ordered to pay compensation of £100.

STEPHEN CLARKE, 40 and of Victoria Avenue in Swanage, admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class B, namely Cannabis / Cannabis Resin, in Blandford on an unknown date. He admitted theft from a shop after stealing two bottles of Champagne to the value of £45.50 from a Co-op in Wareham on December 20, 2023. He admitted failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time, namely failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Weymouth Magistrates' Court on July 5. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay compensation of £45.50.

CHRISTOPHER KETTLE, 38 and of Norwich Avenue West in Bournemouth, was found guilty of failing to provide specimen for analysis - vehicle driver, after failing to provide a specimen of blood to police for a laboratory test, in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, in Western Road in Bournemouth on October 26, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for three years. He was also fined £300, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £120 and costs of £200 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

VERITY LOCK, 24 and of no fixed address, admitted two counts of criminal damage to property after damaging property belonging to Bournemouth Probation on April 18, and damaging a police van belonging to Dorset Police on May 5. She admitted two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker after assaulting a police officer in police custody in Bournemouth on April 18 and assaulting a police officer at Poole General Hospital on May 15. She committed a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order of eight weeks imprisonment suspended for 18, made by Dorset Magistrates Court on March 30, 2023. The suspended sentence was amended by extending the operational period to 22 months. She was handed a community order lasting until July 25, 2025, and ordered to pay compensation of £100.

ALAN MICHAEL HICKS, 63 and of Avon Terrace in Salisbury, was found guilty of speeding, namely 36mph in a 30mph zone, on the A347 Wimborne Road in Bournemouth on July 10, 2022. He got three points on his licence, was fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £88, and costs of £200 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

GEOFFREY CONQUER, 53 and of Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth, admitted theft from a shop after stealing meat and coffee to the value of £116.63 from a Co-op in Chickerell in Weymouth on April 7. He was ordered to pay compensation of £50.
