A BURGLAR stole a woman’s handbag from her home while she was asleep inside.
The burglar was doing his rounds in Webbs Way in Wallisdown during the early hours of Sunday, July 7.
The bag which he took was later found dumped near to the property along with all of its contents.
Meanwhile, a man also attempted to gain access to a property in the same road earlier that morning but left the scene without entering.
Police officers have now released an image of a man they would like to speak to.
Police constable Andrew Kelly, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into these incidents, which we believe to be linked, and I am issuing an image of a man we would like to identify.
“I would urge anyone with information regarding this individual’s identity to please contact us.”
