HIGH-DEFINITION drone footage shows the journey of world-famous Dom Whiting and his DJ bike session across Bournemouth.

Internationally renowned DJ Dom Whiting cycled through sunny Bournemouth town centre for the fifth time on July 28.

He was joined by thousands of music enthusiasts and avid cyclists in his journey from the Vitality Stadium toward El Murrino for an afterparty on the beach.

Billy Matthews who lives near the event took the opportunity to video the iconic bike ride through the town.

Billy managed to follow Dom and his amass of cyclists through the event using his drone where he captured high-definition shots.

Talking about the footage, Billy said: “I didn't have time to plan anything, and it was tricky to get all the best shots whilst maintaining eye contact with the drone- luckily, I'm on a top floor balcony so was able to do things safely.

“I've got indemnity insurance too for flying over crowds but there was no risk assessment for this flight, which some people could see as an unneeded risk.

“Using the drone is just a hobby at the moment, I've also made promotional content and filmed for some sports teams before.”
