TWO men have been arrested following a serious attack during a cinema screening.
Footage from inside Odeon at BH2 in Exeter Road, Bournemouth town centre shows a man being punched to the ground before two men in white T-shirts leaving the cinema.
Providing an update, a Dorset Police spokesman said two men – aged 20 and 57 and both from Poole – have since been arrested.
The pair were arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent following enquiries by officers.
The spokesman said: “They have been released under investigation as further enquiries are carried out.”
According to a witness, Odeon cancelled the rest of the screening of Deadpool due to “due to blood on the furniture”.
The two injured men were taken to Poole hospital with injuries, including to the face.
Dorset Police previously said the two culprits who fled were not found on the night of the attack on Thursday, July 25 at 8pm.
