A BOURNEMOUTH chicken restaurant has teamed up with world champion boxer Chris Billam-Smith to raise funds for Bournemouth food bank.

Chicken & Blues will work with the Bournemouth-born boxer who is also an ambassador for the food bank throughout August.

The restaurant, which has a branch in Winton, will offer its limited-time menu item ‘CBS’s Knock Out Wings’ with all net proceedings going to the food ban.

Chris said: “This is a fun collaboration for an important cause. Bournemouth Food Bank does incredible work, and I’m excited to see our community come together to support them.

“Enjoying some Knock Out Wings while making a difference is a win-win.”

Joshua Simons, co-founder at Chicken & Blues, added: “We are thrilled to partner with Chris Billam-Smith to support such a vital cause.

“Our neighbourhood fund has been dedicated to raising funds for local charities since its inception, and this year, our chosen charity is Bournemouth Food Bank.

“With Chris’s involvement and our community’s support, we hope to make a difference.”

Rio Argent, fundraising manager at Bournemouth Food Bank, added his charity is “incredibly grateful” for Chicken & Blues and Chris Billan-Smith.
