THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
LEE PURCELL, 40 and of Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of class A at police custody in Bournemouth on May 18. He also admitted failing to comply with drug treatment and testing order on April 26. He was fined £50.
KATHERINE FRIERY, 48 and of Shelley Road in Bournemouth, admitting driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely with 88 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Herbert Avenue in Poole on May 19. She was disqualified from driving for 20 months. She was also fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £48 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
DAVINA MCAULEY, 39 and of Commercial Road in Poole, admitted driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely with 80 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, on the A35 at Dorchester on May 19. She was disqualified from driving for 36 months. She was also fined £866, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £346 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
LISA STONE, 32 and of Churchill Close in Alderholt, admitted driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely with 150 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, and driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence in Harbridge on April 25. She was handed a 12 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and disqualified from driving for 36 months. She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £154 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution.
FREDDIE STANLEY, 30 and of Millfield in Poole, admitted two counts of theft from a shop after stealing laundry products valued at £147.80 from the Co-op in North Street in Wareham on February 17, and stealing laundry products valued at £124.50 from the same store on February 19. He was fined £20 and ordered to pay compensation of £136.15.
KARLA HARRIS, 32 and of Sterte Close in Poole, admitted two counts of theft from a shop after stealing laundry products valued at £147.80 from the Co-op in North Street in Wareham on February 17, and stealing laundry products valued at £124.50 from the same store on February 19. She was fined £20 and ordered to pay compensation of £136.15.
THOMAS GROVES, 40 and of Milestone Road in Poole, admitted two counts of theft from a shop after stealing two bottles of champagne valued at £44.50 from the Co-op in North Street in Wareham on February 5, and stealing various groceries valued at £85.00 from Sainsburys in South Street in Wareham on December 28, 2023. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £24, costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and compensation of £129.50.
SARAH HAMMOND, 46 and of Hercules Road in Poole, admitted causing serious injury by careless / inconsiderate driving in Roman Heights in Corfe Mullen on January 22. She was disqualified from driving for 12 months and handed a community order lasting until July 28, 2025. She was also fined £330 and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
DAVID ILLIDGE, 38 and of Gudge Heath Lane in Fareham, admitted being in charge of motor vehicle while alcohol level above limit, namely with 79 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Cecil Road in Bournemouth on May 20. He got ten points on his licence. He was also fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
