MAN causes £300 worth of damage to Bournemouth theatre after smashing a glass door with a parasol.

Between 4.30am and 4.45am on Monday July 29, 2024, a man broke a parasol from its stand and used it to damage the glass door of the Pavilion Theatre in Westover Road.

 He then tried to unsuccessfully gain access to the venue.

Officers are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify following the criminal damage incident in Bournemouth.

Police Community Support Investigator Jared Sharman, of Bournemouth police, said: “A significant amount of damage was caused to the building, costing around £300 to repair.

“I am now issuing CCTV images of a man I would like to identify and would ask anyone who recognises him to please come forward.”
