A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital after a crash with a BMW. 

The rider, on his red Honda, was in Lymington Road, Highcliffe – close to the junction with Rothesay Road – when he was involved in a crash with a black BMW 5-Series. 

The male rider, in his 60s, suffered an injury to his foot as a result of the crash and was taken to hospital. 

Officers are now appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened at around 2pm on Sunday, July 21. 

Police constable Sorrel Gilbert, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to conduct enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward. 

“I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the vicinity and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
