THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
JORDAN SEAN CARNEY, 27 and of no fixed address, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on November 14, 2023. He was handed a three month prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay costs of £60.
LARA YOUNGER, 26 and of Woodside Road in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely police, in Bournemouth on March 4. She admitted criminal damage to property after damaging a cell while in custody in Bournemouth on March 4. She was handed a community order lasting until July 29, 2025. She was also ordered to pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
JONATHAN KEITH, 44 and of Sea View Road in Poole, admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class B, namely Cannabis / Cannabis Resin, in Phippard Way in Poole on April 16. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
SAMUEL CARR, 36 and of Southill Garden Drive in Weymouth, admitted trespassing in proximity of railway / on railway property, after trespassing on the lines at Parkstone Railway Station on April 23. He admitted assault by beating after assaulting a woman in Poole on April 23. He admitted two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker after assaulting two police officers in Poole on April 23. He was jailed for 14 weeks.
LEE CUMMINGS, 39 and of Glen Road in Bournemouth, admitted four counts of theft from a shop after stealing butter and HP sauce from Co-op in Commercial Road in Poole on April 29, stealing meat from Tesco at Poole Quay on April 25, stealing food from Co-op in Commercial Road in Poole on April 15, and stealing coffee from Co-op in Commercial Road in Poole on April 25.He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £100.
CRAIG LOCKE, 52 and of Ford Lane in Ferndown, was found guilty of causing serious injury by careless / inconsiderate driving in Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on October 10, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, but court records show the driving disqualification is suspended pending an appeal. He was also fined £1050, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £420 and costs of £330 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
OWEN ROCKE, 21 and of Poole Road in Wimborne Minster, admitted possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place, namely a kitchen knife, in Gillingham on September 2, 2023. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class B, namely Cannabis / Cannabis Resin, in Gillingham on September 2, 2023. He was handed a 12 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £154 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
CHARLIE SMITH, 31 and of Alexander Road in Portsmouth, admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker after assaulting a police officer while in custody in Bournemouth on March 30. He admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely in Post Office Road in Bournemouth on March 30. He admitted failing to answer to court / police bail as soon as practicable, after failing to surrender at Poole Magistrates' Court on June 3 having been released on bail in criminal proceedings. He was fined £500 and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
