BCP COUNCIL’s new “modern, accessible and innovative” website is up and running.
Working with Zengenti, the updated website is said to make finding key services online “easier and faster” for residents than calling the council’s services directly.
The site offers a wide range of services and information for users, including council tax support, information about waste management and school admissions.
Lewis Tobia, web manager at BCP Council, said: “BCP Council’s vision is where people, nature, coast and towns come together in sustainable, safe and healthy communities.
“To achieve this we understand that we need a modern, accessible and innovative website. Our work with Zengenti has provided a significant step in providing a platform for our digital front door where our online services are accessible to residents, businesses, partners and visitors.
“Through workshops and training Zengenti have played an essential role in helping us along the way to achieving our vision and the site migration has been a smooth transition, minimising any disruption to our users.”
Stef Robinson, client account manager at Zengenti, added: “The migration of Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole Council's website gave us and BCP a unique opportunity to reassess the entire website's Information Architecture (IA).
“Put simply, this is the practice of organising, structuring and labelling content in a way that makes it easy for users to find and understand information.”
