OFFICERS have issued a missing persons appeal for a teenager believed to be in Wimborne.

Spencer Mitchell, 15 was last seen in Crown Mead at around 1pm on August 1.

He is described as 5ft 10, tall and of slim build with short brown hair.

Spencer was last seen wearing a dark coloured t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms carrying a small black shoulder bag.

Sergeant Scott McFarland, of Dorset Police’s Missing Person Support Team, said: “We are concerned for Spencer’s welfare as he has not been home or been in contact with his family for several days now.

“We believe he may have been staying with people who are not aware that he has been reported missing so I am appealing to anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please contact us.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Spencer should he see this appeal please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are. We just want to ensure you are safe and well.”
