A WOMAN has been charged after an alleged stabbing outside a pub.
Sharnice Summer, 32, is due to appear in court later this month after the incident outside The Churchill in Ashley Road, Parkstone on March 1.
Poole resident Summer has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. She is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday, August 23.
The victim, in her 20s, allegedly suffered a stab wound on her neck, according to police, and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Witnesses reported seeing around eight police cars and ambulances attending the incident.
Greene King, the operators of the pub on the corner of Churchill Road, confirmed the incident happened outside the premises and had to close the pub during the weekend.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: “The arrested woman has now been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent."
