A MAN has been released from a police investigation into a serious attack outside a pub.
The 19-year-old from Southampton was previously arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent has been released.
It followed an assault outside the Kings Arms in Wallisdown Road, Bournemouth on July 11 in which a man in his 30s suffered serious injuries and had to be rushed to Poole Hospital,
However, the other arrested man for the same offences, a 24-year-old also from Southampton, remains on police bail.
Dorset Police said: “The 19-year-old man who was arrested has been released without charge. The 24-year-old man who was arrested remains on police bail and our investigation is ongoing.”
Officers were initially called to reports of a man causing damage at the pub, but would not confirm the details around it.
Glass could be seen smashed and scattered in the car park next to a parked silver Audi A3 within a police cordon on Friday morning.
Also inside the police tape was man’s clothing, including shoes and a green jacket, as well as a blood soaked white kitchen roll.
