A MAN has died after emergency services were called to a supermarket.
Officers aided the South Western Ambulance Service after reports that a man in his 60s had died at Tesco at Tower Park.
An air ambulance was also seen circling the area before heading back to its headquarters.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 12.11pm on Friday 2 August 2024 from the ambulance service relating to the death of a man at the Tesco supermarket in Yarrow Road in Poole.
“Officers attended and it was confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
“The family of the man, who was aged in his 60s and from Bournemouth, have been notified and our thoughts remain with all his loved ones at this difficult time.
“The coroner has also been notified.”
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said: "We were called at 10.28am on Friday 2 August to an incident in Poole.
“We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, an air ambulance, a critical care car, and a rapid response vehicle to the scene."
