Museum Curator David Willey said, “Tiger 131 is the most famous tank in the world and there are a lot of tank fans who will jump at the chance for a ride in this infamous German tank.

“All profits from the Tiger raffle and auction will go towards supporting the Museum’s historic tank collection, ensuring that Tiger 131 can be kept in running order for years to come.”

The Tiger tank was a formidable weapon introduced by the Nazis and was seized by the Allies during fierce fighting in the Tunisian desert.

Tiger Day is a brilliant opportunity for Tiger fans and families to see historic vehicles in action and explore the ten immersive exhibitions that tell the stories of the tanks and those who served with them.

The auction begins on 16 August and runs for 10 days. Tiger Day Raffle, Premium and Advance tickets are still available. Tickets must be purchased in advance. For more information, visit tankmuseum.org
