A MAN has been charged with shoplifting after an item of clothing was allegedly stolen from a high street charity shop.
Multiple police officers were seen outside the Sue Ryder Care shop in Wimborne Road, Winton, on Saturday morning, August 3.
According to Dorset Police, an item of clothing was allegedly stolen from Sue Ryder.
Officers had arrested a Bournemouth man, 33, and later charged him with theft from a shop.
Jamie Peter Campion of Bournemouth is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday, October 25.
A spokeswoman from Dorset Police said: “It is reported that at around 10.35am on Saturday 3 August 2024 a man stole an item of clothing from a charity shop in Wimborne Road in Bournemouth.
“A 33-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested and subsequently charged with theft from a shop and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 25 October 2024.”
