THE final details for a festival that is set to be a ‘unique blend of sophistication, culture and excitement’ have been confirmed.
Dorset Wine Festival will come to Highcliffe Castle for its inaugural edition in October, offering a celebration of the world’s finest wines, prosecco and champagne.
The festival aims to be a celebration of everything that Dorset has to offer.
This includes showcasing everything from local produce to music, and is set to highlight the rich cultural tapestry of the county.
Across the weekend, attendees can enjoy music from Olivia Sebis, Down With The DJ, Emma Hardy, Kirk Ensure, Tudo and Kev Jackson.
They can also look forward to food from the region’s top chefs, from artisanal cheeses, freshly caught seafood and deserts.
This will come from Vicolo, The Raclette Kitchen, Warren's Ice Cream and Desi Rasoi Bournemouth.
There will be a marketplace inside the castle, which will offer everything from handcrafted goods to bespoke paintings, all from local businesses.
The festival will feature a supercar paddock, too, which will show a series of luxury cars for automotive enthusiasts and thrill-seekers alike.
Festival director, Simone Ippolito, said: “We are thrilled to bring the Dorset Wine Festival to Highcliffe Castle, offering a unique blend of sophistication, culture, and excitement.”
Fellow director Mauro Guasti added: “This year's event promises to surpass all expectations, delivering an unforgettable experience that celebrates the very best of Dorset while enchanting guests with the finest wines and luxurious amenities.”
As reported, the festival is producing a documentary to highlight its sponsors and exhibitors, showcasing Dorset while providing a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into organising a festival of this size.
The festival is sponsored by S3 Homes, Walton Accountancy, Ford Foray Group and Chewton Glen, but other businesses to feature in the documentary will be AFC Bournemouth, Foundry and others.
It will also be supporting its charity partners MYTIME Young Carers and Julia’s House.
