NO arrests have been made yet after a man was stabbed while waiting in a car outside a Morrisons. 

Two men dressed in balaclavas approached the victim in his 20s on the evening of Saturday, August 3 when he had his car window wound down and stabbed him on the shoulder. 

He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not described as life-changing or life threatening. 

A shop worker at the Morrisons in Hightown Road, Ringwood said the stabbing took place outside the shop but the man came running inside for help. 

He added no staff were harmed but were “shook up” after the incident. 

Providing an update on Monday afternoon, Hampshire police’s spokesman said the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made. 

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses or extra information to find the two male suspects, who fled in a silver Mercedes C200 Sport.

Morrisons said the Ringwood store is now open and trading after it was closed on Sunday, August 4, following the incident.
