OFFICERS are appealing for information on a jacket that was left behind at the scene of a crime.
Officers responded to alerts of ‘youths’ riding a stolen moped in Poole.
After officers attended, the youths fled the scene, leaving a piece of evidence behind.
Now, the force is encouraging the owner of the hoodie to get in touch.
A spokesperson for Poole Police said: “Poole NPT was on patrol this evening when a call came in for youths on a stolen moped on Sterte Esplanade.
“A short while later NPT PCSOs were at the location and found the bike dumped at the side of a block of flats.
“Enquiries are ongoing to locate the owner of the bike and to ID the youths involved.
“Unfortunately for one of the youths involved, they dropped their jacket, vape, and cigarette.
“If you would like this back please get in touch with us by either phoning or coming into Poole Police Station for your belongings, as we would love to speak to you.”
