THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
PETER JOHN BRIGHT, 46 and of Ballam Grove in Poole, admitted attempted theft after attempting to steal metal posts belonging to RT Fabrication and Maintenance in New Milton on May 20, 2023. He admitted threat to damage / destroy property after threatening that he would come back and set fire to the property belonging to RT Fabrication and Maintenance in New Milton on May 20, 2023. He admitted theft from a shop after stealing items to the value of £95 from Tesco Express in Poole Road in Bournemouth on February 13. He admitted theft after stealing metal with a value over £300 in Crossways in Dorchester on September 17, 2023. He admitted commission of a further offence whilst subject to a conditional discharge order for a period of 18 months imposed on August 21, 2023, at Dorset Magistrates Court. He was handed a community order lasting until August 1, 2025, with a requirement to complete 180 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £395.
NANDA MUNDKUR, 33 and of Farwell Road in Poole, admitted using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, and driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely 95 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, on the M3 at Eastleigh on May 27. He was handed a community order lasting until August 1, 2025, with a requirement to complete 120 hours of unpaid work, and was disqualified from driving for 23 months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
RUSSELL KNOTT, 30 and of Legion Road in Poole, admitted three counts of driving motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit in Petersham Road in Poole on January 20, namely with 6.2ugl of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol, 800ugl of Benzoylecgonine and 27ugl of Cocaine. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months. He was also fined £600, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £240 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
SHANE SELBY, 20 and of Warburton Road in Poole, admitted criminal damage to property after damaging a bus shelter to the value of £307.94 in Ashley Road in Poole on March 14. He admitted theft from a shop after stealing alcohol to the value of £123.30 from Asda in Culliford Crescent in Poole on March 7. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £215.62 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
EWAN PARROTT, 25 and of no fixed address, admitted theft from a shop after stealing groceries to the value of £25.90 from Charminster Road in Bournemouth on March 26. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £25.90.
LUKE GIUGNO, 36 and of Farley Hill in Luton, admitted driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely not less than 3.5 micrograms of Tetrahydrocannabinol per 1 litre of blood, in Napier Road in Poole on October 19, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £600, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £240 and costs of £200 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
