THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

ALEXANDER OGLE, 41 and of Chestnut Avenue in Bournemouth, admitted driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely Benzoylecgonine, in Knole Road in Bournemouth on January 28. He admitted failing to stop a mechanically propelled vehicle when required by constable / traffic warden in Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on February 24. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

NATHANIEL MARTINEZ, 18 and of Pipit Close in Weymouth, admitted assault by beating in Crown Mead in Wimborne Minster on February 5. He admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely a police officer, at Wimborne Police Station on May 7. He admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class B, namely Cannabis / Cannabis, at Weymouth Police Station on February 7.  He admitted eight counts of theft from a shop after stealing from Marks and Spencer at the BP Service Station in Leigh Road in Wimborne. He stole a bottle of pinot grigio and a bottle of oasis to the value of £20 on February 3, two steaks to the value of £9 on January 31, a packet of Percy Pigs to the value of £2.10 on January 28, desserts to the value of £24.50 on January 25, two sweet and sour ready meals, three packets of Percy Pigs and a four back of cokes valued at between £20 and £30 on January 30, food to the value of £19.95 on January 28, two Corona four packs, two San Miguel four packs and a bottle of pinot grigio to the value of £36 on January 13, and two Corona four packs and a bottle of pinot grigio to the value of £24 on April 8. He was handed a community order lasting until January 4, 2025, with a curfew with electronic monitoring. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £256.06.

DAVID BARNETT, 45 and of Shoreditch High Street in London, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Poole Hill in Bournemouth on February 13. He was conditionally discharged for a period of six months and ordered to pay costs of £40 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MARY FIELDS, 47 and of Corhampton Road in Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class B, namely Cannabis / Cannabis Resin, in Corhampton Road in Bournemouth on December 17, 2023. She admitted driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely cocaine, in Cambridge Road on December 16, 2023. She was disqualified from driving for 17 months and fined £250.

JONATHAN LEAH, 50 and Beverley Gardens in Bournemouth, admitted assault by beating at Riverside Avenue in Bournemouth on December 23, 2023. He was conditionally discharged for a period of two years. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

LUKE WALKER, 40 and of Alumhurst Road in Bournemouth, admitted driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely with 44 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Ringwood Road in Bournemouth on May 26. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £323, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £129 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

ALAN CHABAUTY, 40 and of Bournemouth, admitted driving whilst disqualified at Cooper Dean Roundabout in Bournemouth on May 2. He was disqualified from driving for nine months and fined £200.

DAVID JOHN LAWRENCE, 43 and of Southcote Road in Bournemouth, admitted racially aggravated fear / provocation of violence by words / writing in Castle Lane West in Bournemouth on February 26, 2023. He admitted two counts of using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress at Royal Bournemouth Hospital on February 26, 2023, and at Bournemouth Probation Office on April 14, 2023. He admitted common assault of an emergency worker, namely a police officer, in Bournemouth on February 26, 2023. He admitted assault by beating after assaulting a woman in Mitchell Road in Poole on January 2. He admitted three counts of theft from a shop after stealing two bottles of wine valued at £13 from a Co-op in Bournemouth on June 6, 2023, stealing a bottle of wine valued at £10.15 from Tesco in Poole Road in Bournemouth on July 26, 2023, and stealing two bottles of wine valued at £19 from Co-op in Madeira Road in Bournemouth on September 14, 2023. He admitted two counts of breaching a criminal behaviour order on July 26 and September 14 in 2023. He admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from a period of imprisonment. He was handed a six week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. He was also fined £40, ordered to pay compensation of £110.15 and costs of £145.

MAE ETHERIDGE, 24 and of Hardy Close in New Milton, admitted being in charge of a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely with 77 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, at Purewell Cross Roundabout in Christchurch on June 15. She got ten points on his licence. She was also fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £50 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

CHRISTOPHER BRETT, 37 and of The Grove in Christchurch, admitted driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely 412 micrograms of Benzoylecgonine per litre of blood, in Castle Lane West in Bournemouth on December 30, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for 40 months. He was also fined £160, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £69 and costs of £50 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

KEITH DEREK TRAVES, 33 and of South Road in Poole, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on July 10, 2023. He was fined £500 and ordered to pay costs of £60.

DELILAH WATERS, 21 and of Trinidad Crescent in Poole, admitted theft from a shop after stealing bottles of alcohol to the total value of £504.90 from John Lewis in Southampton on February 29. She was fined £80.

LAURA ADLAM, 43 and of Alice Gardens in Poole, admitted theft from a shop after stealing clothing to the value of £222.24 from TK Maxx in Swindon on July 5. She was fined £80.

JUSTIN LUMMIS, 52 and of Stewart Road in Bournemouth, admitted driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely with 200 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, in Wimborne Road in Bournemouth on January 8. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months. He was fined £230 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £92 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
