A vineyard located near Poole has been named among the 10 most beautiful in all of Europe.

English Oak Vineyard, which can be found in the village of Lychett Matravers, was ranked as the sixth most beautiful on the continent.

To create the list DFDS researched over 500 of the most highly rated vineyards across Europe, noting the frequency of keywords like “beautiful” and “scenic” in Google reviews

They ensured these terms were directly related to the vineyard’s environment to assign each vineyard a beauty score.

Alongside that, they said: "We also created a vineyard satisfaction score which analysed the sentiment of reviews to determine visitors’ overall enjoyment. The satisfaction and beauty scores were combined, resulting in a ranking of Europe’s 10 most beautiful vineyards."
