AN ‘INTOXICATED’ woman was taken off the streets and arrested on suspicion of multiple crimes.
The Dorset Specials officers attended an incident in Bournemouth town centre after reports of a drunk woman causing a scene.
Dorset Specials are a group of volunteers who, once trained, will have the same powers as regular police officers helping to protect and support the people who live in Dorset.
The woman was subsequently arrested on suspicion of multiple offences, one including assaulting an emergency worker.
A spokesperson for Dorset Specials said: “S/Insp Jordan & SC James attended reports of an intoxicated female causing issues in town.
“She was arrested on suspicion of being drunk & disorderly, assaulting an emergency worker, public order and criminal damage.
“She will remain in custody, pending interview.”
