CHRISTCHURCH was awash with colour and fun at the weekend.
Hundreds of people turned out to watch the popular parade as it made its way through the town centre on Sunday afternoon.
There was singing and dancing in the streets, eye catching vehicles, quirky costumes and even a Captain Jack Sparrow in attendance.
It made its way through the streets from Two Riversmeet, down the High Street and past the Old Town Hall where carnival goers could hear the Town Crier from the balcony, before making its way back to the Quay.
Festivities for the 114th Christchurch Carnival kicked off with a tug of war event on Friday.
Fireworks, live music, a funfair and more kept the crowds entertained over the weekend.
