A MAN flashed himself twice while at a memorial hall.

Police officers were called to two separate incidents in the area of West parley Memorial Hall off Christchurch Road between 5am and 6.30am.

Both incidents happened between those days on Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 10.

A 55-year-old man from Bournemouth has arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency and he has been released on police bail as further investigative work is carried out.

Officers say there is no indication that the flashing was directed at a specific individual.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward in connection with the incident.

Police constable Jessica Burton, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into these incidents, and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the two mornings in question.

“In particular, I would like to speak to a female dog walker who was seen in the vicinity on the morning of Friday 2 August 2024 at around 6.25am as she may have information to assist our investigation.”
