A MOTORIST ‘driving dangerously’ has crashed into a set of traffic lights in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police received a report at 11.34pm on Saturday, August 10, of two vehicles driving dangerously in the area of Poole Hill.
It was subsequently reported that one of the vehicles was involved in a collision with a traffic light at the junction of Clarendon Road and Poole Road.
Following enquiries at the scene, a 21-year-old man from Southampton was arrested and charged with aggravated vehicle taking, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance.
An 18-year-old man from Poole was arrested and charged with drink driving.
Both men are due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, October 14.
