TWO busy roads in the conurbation will close in the first part of September as resurfacing work commences.
Work to resurface the tarmac in Turbary Park Avenue in West Howe, Bournemouth will begin on Monday, September 2.
A round-the-clock road closure will be in force while the work is carried out on the road before the anticipated reopening date of Wednesday, September 4.
A signed diversion route will be in place taking motorists through Kinson Road, Wallisdown Road, Ringwood Road and Poole Road.
After that, a 24/7 road closure will be in force along Stony Lane Salisbury Road in Christchurch from the junction of the A35 Purewell Cross Roundabout up to Sopley.
This resurfacing work will happen from Wednesday, September 4 and last for a week until Wednesday, September 11.
Motorists can continue driving along the A35 to the Cat and Fiddle before turning off at Ringwood Road, through Bransgore and onto Derritt Lane before coming into Sopley.
