A SHOPPING village in West Parley is preparing to host a summer party.
Room 1553 Vintage Emporium will be holding a summer party and shopping event on Bank Holiday Monday, August 26.
The event will feature live music and refreshments, as well as ‘pop-up’ vintage stalls joining the emporium for one day only.
Shoppers are invited to join in the fun between 11am and 4pm.
Room 1553, which is located inside Basket and Blooms Garden Centre, stocks items from across the years, including garden statutes, clocks, jewellery, furniture, and mirrors.
The emporium was opened in October 2022 by Steve and Lisa Tydeman.
In early 2023, it was expanded into a third building at the centre, seeing it welcome more than 20 new dealers of vintage, antique and retro collectables.
The owners said the expansion made the emporium 'bigger and better'.
