A SMALL nail business has reached the finals of a national beauty awards within one year of opening.
Black Canvas Nails was set up by Lyndsey Joyce this year after giving birth to her first child in July and leaving her job in the NHS.
Lyndsey’s new business venture has already been recognised in the esteemed UK Hair and Beauty Awards.
The awards recognises Black Canvas Nails’ outstanding contributions and exceptional talents in the nail industry.
"I am incredibly honoured and thrilled to be recognised as a finalist at the prestigious UK Hair and Beauty Awards," said Lyndsey.
"Despite me starting the business only this year, I’m so proud of what I’ve achieved so far and am so thankful to my amazing client base for their love and support.
“It was such a tough decision after having my first child to step into the beauty world so it’s an overwhelming feeling to be nominated.
“I wanted to chase my passion and I’m really pleased that I’m now able to provide a personalised nail experience to everyone in the BCP area.
“I’m committed to providing the highest quality nail services and exceeding clients' expectations every step of the way – it’s something that I pride myself on and hopefully this award is testament to that!”
The UK Hair and Beauty Awards is set to take place on August 30 at an exclusive event in Birmingham.
The evening will include entertainment along with celebrity guests, hosts and live music performances.
