A MAN has come forward to police after reports of an alleged indecent exposure in Bournemouth.
It was reported that the incident took place between 9.30am and 9.40am on July 14 in the area of Brecon Close.
A woman aged in her 70s was walking near the River Stour when she said she witnessed a man exposing himself.
Following an image appeal, a man aged in his 20s has been identified and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
He is due to attend a voluntary police interview and no arrests have been made.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “A man has been identified following an image appeal in relation to a report of exposure in Bournemouth.
“It was reported that between 9.30am and 9.40am on Sunday 14 July 2024 a woman aged in her 70s was walking near to the River Stour in the area of Brecon Close when she witnessed a man exposing himself.
“Following an image appeal, a man aged in his 20s has been identified and is assisting officers with their enquiries. He is due to attend a voluntary police interview. No arrests have been made.”
