DORSET Police officers got a special surprise when they came across a theatre group while on patrol.
Officers stopped to get a quick snap with the cast of Sister Act on Bournemouth Pier.
Sister Act is currently being shown at the Pavilion until August 24.
The cast joined officers in spreading safety messages on the beach.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “This afternoon during proactive patrols of the seafront our officers bumped into this group.
“After making sure they hadn’t ‘raised their voice’ they helped us ‘spread the safety message’.
"We made sure they didn’t have a criminal habit before letting them get back to Sister Act at the Bournemouth Pavilion.”
