A RESTAURANT chain will unveil its brand-new branch in Lymington next week.
Loungers is due to open 'Solento Lounge', at the site of the former Barclays Bank in the high street, on Thursday, August 29.
The building has been transformed with patterned wallpapers, tiling and stripped wooden floors, and now features oversized vintage sofas, upholstered lounge chairs, 'eclectic' artwork and statement wall and pendant lighting.
Loungers has described the new branch as a ‘real home from home’, which will cater for all tastes throughout the day with a ‘varied and innovative’ menu.
The all-day menu will feature everything from tapas and salads to burgers and buttermilk fried chicken, with vegans and gluten-free catered for with their very own menus..
Particular attention will be paid to families with a selection of games, books, colouring pencils and pads on offer.
A full menu, high chairs and baby-changing facilities are also available for Little Loungers.
Gemma Irwin, head of community at Loungers, said: “We are delighted to be opening Solento Lounge in Lymington.
"Our Lounges strive to put community at the heart of hospitality and our teams always go the extra mile to make a difference.
"They are actively encouraged to connect with their communities by working with local groups, charities, organisations and businesses that are at the heart of the fabric of local life. We are very much looking forward to welcoming local residents to Solento Lounge.”
Solento Lounge is the latest addition by Loungers, which operates more than 260 sites in England and Wales across three brands, Lounge, Cosy Club and Brightside.
The Lounge brand has established itself locally, with Arboro Lounge in Ringwood, Conto Lounge in Winton, Arcado Lounge in Christchurch, and Ludo Lounge in Southbourne.
Loungers say the new branch in Lymington has created around 30 jobs for local people.
Job opportunities are currently being advertised online, with available roles including chef, sous chef, and bar and waiting team staff.
