ROAD CLOSURES have been put in place while emergency services deal with an incident in North Dorset.
Dorset Police were alerted to a crash on Wyke Road at around 9am this morning (August 22).
It is reported that a car has collided with a lamppost in Gillingham.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 9.22am of a single vehicle collision in Wyke Road in Gillingham. It was reported that the car involved had collided with a lamppost.
“Officers have attended, along with the ambulance service. There are not believed to be any serious injuries.
“Road closures have been put in place and the local authority has been notified in relation to damage to the lamppost.”
