A POOLE bank is set to close for a refurbishment.
The HSBC bank branch in Poole High Street will close temporarily from August 23 until September 6, for a variety of internal and external alterations to be made.
The bank will also be hosting community pop-up events at the Post Office within WH Smith on August 24 and 31 at 9.30am and August 27 to September 5 from 9.30am – 4.30pm, on Poole High Street where HSBC staff will be on hand to support customers.
Rachel Hill, HSBC UK’s local director, said: “We continue to invest in our branch network to make our customers’ experience banking with us a good one.
“We are pleased that our Poole branch is getting a refresh, with some painting, new signage, and the installation of new state-of-the-art cash machines, which we are excited about.
“We have been talking to customers about the temporary closure for the last month, and while we are having the work done people can continue to use their nearest Post Office for day-to-day transactions, plus mobile and online banking is available 24/7 in addition to being able to call our contact centre.
“Customers can also continue to use any of our branches with Bournemouth town centre full-service branch and Westbourne (Digital) being the closest branch.”
