AN investigation has been launched after a boat was taken from its dock multiple times without the owner’s consent.

It is reported that four men had taken the four-berth Regal 28 Express boat out on a number of occasions between July 15 and August 2.

The boat had been docked in Cobbs Quay Marina in Woodlands Avenue.

The owner also reported that they had been fraudulently charged £400 for the cost of fuel used to power the boat.

Police have now issued CCTV images of four men they would like to identify as part of their enquiries.

Police community support investigator Adam Cleaver, of Poole police, said: “Our investigation into this matter is ongoing and I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of four men we would like to identify.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding their identity to please make contact with us.”
