TWO MEN have come forward to police after a man in his 20s was bottled outside a Bournemouth bar.
Dorset Police issued a CCTV appeal of men they were looking to identify in connection with the assault outside Sol in Old Christchurch Road.
It was reported that at around 3am on August 11 a man was punched in the face by one man before being hit over the head with another.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
Two men have now come forward and are assisting officers with their investigation.
A spokesperson said: “Dorset Police received a report at around 3am on Sunday 11 August 2024 of an assault outside Sol in Old Christchurch Road.
“It was reported that the victim – a man aged in his 20s – was punched in the face by one man before another hit him over the head with a bottle.
“The victim attended hospital for treatment to his injuries.
“Following enquiries by officers and a CCTV appeal, two men have now come forward and are assisting officers with their investigation. No arrests have been made.”
