NO arrests have been made nearly a month after a sexual assault at a Poole recreation ground.
The woman in her 30s was in Poole General Hospital shortly before 6am on Sunday, July 28 with injuries to her face and wrist.
She told people at the hospital that she had been subjected to a “serious sexual assault”, according to a police spokesman.
Enquiries by officers found she had been allegedly assaulted in the area of Haskells recreation ground in Newtown, Poole, in the late evening of Saturday, July 27.
A police cordon and crime scene investigators were seen at a property in Ringwood Road, Poole, on Sunday afternoon.
Providing an update nearly a month on, Dorset Police said no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
The spokesman said last month: “The victim is being supported by specially trained officers and a full investigation has been launched into this incident.”
