A CAR crashed with a marked police car on a busy dual carriageway in Poole.
The car, believed to be a red Ford Fiesta, appeared to have crashed with a stationary marked police car in Dorset Way between Tower Park Roundabout and the Canford Heath turnoff.
Officers closed one of the lanes along the road, while traffic built up in the area on the afternoon of Friday, August 23.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Police said: "At 2.15pm on Friday 23 August 2024 we received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on A3049 Dorset Way near the roundabout for Canford Way involving a car and a stationary marked police car.
"One lane of traffic was closed. No injuries were reported."
Meanwhile, at around the same time, a crash between a VW Tiguan and highways van happened down the road at Holes Bay Roundabout.
This brought even more disruption to the roads while motorists diverted around the crash.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "At 1.19pm on Friday 23 August 2024 we received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision at the Holes Bay roundabout in Poole.
"Officers were in attendance. The road was temporarily closed before it was reopened at around 2.40pm. No injuries were reported."
