A PERSON has been taken to hospital following a crash on the A31 Ringwood Road.
Dorset Police was called at 11.09am on Monday, August 26, to a report of a two-vehicle crash near to the Azalea roundabout in Ferndown.
Officers attended alongside fire and ambulance services.
Minor injuries were reported, with one person taken to hospital for treatment.
Motorists faced heavy delays as recovery was arranged for the two vehicles.
The road was cleared at around 1.30pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Fire crews from Ferndown and Ringwood were mobilised to a report of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles, with persons trapped.
"The incident was located on the A31 at the Azalea Roundabout.
"On arrival, firefighters established that there were no persons trapped, and they assisted the Police in making the scene safe."
