SEARCHING FOR a suicidal man and attending a domestic incident are some of the situations officers dealt with over the bank holiday weekend.
Officers spent a part of the long weekend searching for a ‘suicidal male’ across Bournemouth.
A man causing issues outside a supermarket was also required to leave the area for 12 hours.
A spokesperson for Bournemouth Police said: “PCs Mark and Carri have had a busy bank holiday shift covering 100 days of summer in Bournemouth Town centre and Westbourne.
“Whilst out and about, we helped our response officers by attending the report of a domestic incident and thankfully only words of advice were required as no offences were apparent.
“We attended the report of a vulnerable suicidal male and completed area searches. Thankfully he had checked himself into to hospital and was being looked after by medical staff.
“We completed morning and afternoon foot patrols at both Bournemouth Beach and Westbourne Town centre liaising with BCP Council staff, everything was in order.
“Lastly, we issued a section 35 disposal notice to a male causing problems outside Tesco Express in Westbourne he was asked to leave the area for 12 hours.”
